Role Overview:The Substitute Teacher supports classroom teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children. This role assists with daily classroom operations, including guiding children through learning activities, supervising routines, maintaining cleanliness, and preparing materials. Substitutes may work across multiple locations and rotate between classrooms as needed.
The Substitute Teacher collaborates closely with instructional staff to meet the individual needs of each child, ensure active supervision, and foster positive, trusting relationships with children and families. Ongoing training and participation in professional development are required to support high-quality early childhood care and education.
