Join our team as a Child Care Business Support Specialist and play a vital role in supporting the success of child care programs and the families they serve.

In this relationship-focused role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for families, child care providers, and community partners. By helping families navigate Child Care Services (CCS), connecting them to valuable resources, and supporting child care programs across the region, you'll help ensure children have access to safe, high-quality early learning experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Guide families through the Child Care Services (CCS) eligibility process and help them access available resources and supports.
  • Serve as a liaison between families, child care providers, community partners, and Child Care Associates programs.
  • Build strong relationships with child care programs, community organizations, and family-serving agencies.
  • Promote quality child care and encourage family involvement in children's education and development.
  • Connect families with additional services and resources that support health, education, employment, and family stability goals.
  • Research, develop, and share resource information and referral materials for families in need.
  • Conduct onsite visits to participating child care programs to support attendance verification and strengthen provider relationships.
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding new child care facilities into the CCS program.
  • Participate in community events, meetings, and outreach activities to increase awareness of available services.
  • Collaborate with community partners to coordinate services and improve support for children and families.
  • Support data reporting, resource development, and community engagement initiatives across the North Central Texas region.
  • Promote our "No Wrong Door" approach by helping families learn about the full range of services available through Child Care Associates.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution AND at least one (1) year of full-time experience in child development, child care programs, customer service, or social work. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in a social services role including experience in working with limited income families from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds 
  • Possess and maintain the necessary skill level in technology systems and software required to perform job duties. 
  • Excellent demonstrated organizational, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, customers, partners and external vendors with professionalism and diplomacy.  
  • Must be legally authorized to work in US/TX. 
  • Position subject to successful completion of background checks

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods. 
  • Repetitive use of hands for reaching, handling, and turning. 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds; includes light lifting of supplies and materials. 
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. 
  • Must be able to twist, turn, kneel, bend, and stoop as needed
